Picture2The Snow Brigade operates as a volunteer service for qualifying elderly or disabled residents who request snow removal assistance.

Volunteers are activated within 24 to 48 hours when two inches, or more, of snow accumulates.

Request Snow Removal Service

  • Applications are processed from Nov. 1 through Nov. 30.
  • Participants must register annually.
  • Documentation is processed regarding age (62 years of age or older) or disability (verified with a SS Disability letter, letter from a medical professional, etc.) is required for each adult living in the household.  Each person 18 years of age and older must qualify.

New Applicants

  1. Call 913-971-8788 to request a Snow Brigade application.
  2. Your application will be mailed or emailed to you before Nov. 1.
  3. Your notification of participation in the Snow Brigade program will be mailed or emailed to you before Nov. 30.
