 The City of Olathe will hold a Public Workshop on Wednesday, July 25th to present and receive feedback concerning the first module of draft updates for the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), the City’s zoning code. The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber at Olathe City Hall, 100 East Santa Fe. The meeting will commence at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m.  Refreshments and cookies will be provided.

 The City of Olathe will hold a Developer Forum on Wednesday, July 25th to present and receive feedback concerning the first module of draft updates for the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), the City’s zoning code. The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber at Olathe City Hall, 100 East Santa Fe. The meeting will be held from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.  Coffee and breakfast will be available in the lobby beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Unified Development Ordinance Developer Forum

The City of Olathe has begun a process to update the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO).  The UDO implements PlanOlathe, which was adopted in 2010.  The UDO will include new standards for zoning, building design, site planning, infrastructure, landscaping, parking, nonconformities and vested rights, and uses (such as home occupations, cell towers, etc.).  It will also update the process for approving new development.Read more »

Unified Development Ordinance Public Workshops - February 29th
