Location: Lone Elm Park (21035 W 167TH ST)

This piece was commissioned for the Kansas Visitors Center located at 119th and Strang Line Rd. When the visitors’ center closed, the piece was relocated to Lone Elm Park. The sculpture recognizes Olathe’s importance in the expansion of the western frontier and the role of the historic Lone Elm Campground.
