Changes coming to City of Olathe electronic waste collection

Post Date:12/20/2017

Beginning Jan. 1, 2018, only Olathe residents will be able to recycle electronic waste (e-waste) at the City of Olathe Household Hazardous Waste location (1420 S. Robinson Dr.).  Residents will be required to show photo ID and submit an Electronic Waste Recycling waiver. Visit for a list of acceptable e-waste.

All Johnson County residents will still be able to drop off all qualified non-e-waste items at the Household Hazardous Waste location and during monthly drop-off events. Visit for additional details or to make an appointment.
