Free large limb bulk pick-up continues

Post Date:02/19/2019 9:00 AM

Due to tree damage caused by heavy snow in Olathe, the City is offering free bulk pick-up for large tree limbs only.

Bulk pick-ups DO NOT need to be scheduled. Please place limbs at the curb for pickup. They must be 15 feet or less in length to fit into the truck. Crews have already begun sweeping neighborhoods and will continue through the beginning of February.

The anticipated collection schedule is:

  • West of I-35: Scheduled collection is complete. Call Customer Service at 913-971-9311 for any additional pick-up. Regular bulk pick-up rates will apply.
  • East of I-35: Collection will be completed by Friday, March 1. Call Customer Service at 913-971-9311 the week of March 4 for any missed pick-up. Regular bulk pick-up rates will apply to any missed pick-up reported after 5 p.m. on Friday, March 8.

Limb collection will not necessarily happen on your trash day. All collection will happen when bulk pickup trucks are in your area.

Please move parked cars away from the curb to ensure that large limbs are not missed.
