Indian Creek Library permanently closed

The Indian Creek Library’s temporary space (13511 S. Mur-Len Rd.) is now closed. The closure will allow staff to transition the Indian Creek Library to its new location (16100 W. 135th St.), which will open on Saturday, Oct. 19. In the interim, please visit the Olathe Downtown Library (201 E. Park St.) for all library needs. Any Indian Creek holds that are left or come in after Sunday, Sept. 8, will be transferred to the Olathe Downtown Library or a Johnson County Library location of the customer’s choice, which can be selected by logging in on OlatheLibrary.org. A book return box will remain available at the temporary location until the box at the new Indian Creek Library is ready. A return box is also located across the street from the temporary location in the Crossroads Shopping Center at Santa Fe and Mur-Len (in front of Payless Foods).

Additionally, the Olathe Downtown Library's Makerspace is closed through Sunday, Sept. 22 to prepare the Indian Creek Library's Makerspace equipment.
