Located in the heart of the beautiful Stagecoach Park, the Olathe Community Center promises to be an ideal location for your special event. When can I visit the Center?
We are looking forward to the opening of the Olathe Community Center on July 1, 2014. Beginning in March 2014 we will be setting up tour opportunities of the community rooms for prospective clients to view. These will be scheduled tours of the rental space. Watch the website to sign up for tour dates and times.
What does the rental fee include?
What do the community rooms look like, what features do they have?
The center features three community rooms that combine into a 3350 square foot banquet room that will seat up to 198 guests. The community rooms will feature wood laminate dance floor, barreled ceilings, fireplace and an architecturally designed window system looking out onto a beautiful patio with fire pit feature and great view of the lower ponds.
May I bring in my own catering?
You may choose from our list of preferred caters. Preferred cater list is being created at this time and should be released by May 2014.
When are the Rental Agreement, Deposit and Final Payment due?
What are your policies for cancellation or changing a date?
A non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking; 50% of the rental fee due 120 days prior to event; and final rental fee, add-ons, and security deposit due 30 days prior to event. Failure to meet deadline may result in forfeit of the reservation. Cancellation Policy: Should you cancel your event, refunds are as follows:
If the event is cancelled:
>120 Days prior to event
<119 Days to 31 days prior to event
Rental Deposit and 50% payment
30 days or less prior to event
No refund on any payments
Clients may transfer their original booking date to another available date. One transfer will be allowed per client without any additional fee; however, all additional transfers will be subject to a $25 fee per transfer. A client may not transfer dates within 3 weeks of the scheduled event. The date must be cancelled and rebooked if desired.
